This week Papa was helping our neighbour with some spring cleaning of her yard, when to his surprise, he stumbled upon a little treasure tucked high in a bush on her property. He found a tiny, perfect nest with two absolutely adorable eggs resting safely in it! He quickly grabbed his phone a took this picture! Isn't it a perfect picture?
After taking this picture he shouted for us to come and see the nest and eggs. He set up a ladder so we could all climb the ladder to have a closer look at this sweet little treasure. Here's a picture of Grace having a look. Any ideas what type of bird these belong to? One looks like a robin, but the other one is not the same !?! Very interesting:)
Finding birds nests are always fun!
ReplyDeletePerhaps it's a cuckoo egg. They're famous for depositing their eggs in other birds' nests. :)
