Another clear MRI ... PRAISE GOD!

Just a short note to let you know that Gabe's MRI was clear ... PRAISE GOD! That means he is still in remission, and we can look forward to enjoying this summer together. For this we are thankful. One of the head brain tumor oncologists met with us yesterday to discuss Gabe's progress post-treatment, and he is very impressed with how he is doing. In the coming month Gabe will undergo a lumbar puncture (spinal tap) to check his spinal fluid and he will need to be re-immunized.

With all other MRI's, the oncology nurse called the day after the MRI with the results but this time, she didn't, and we were left to wonder if something was not right until his appointment yesterday. We decided not to call and find out the results but rather wait until his oncology appointment  and instead use the time to pray and trust God. The Lord has been really working on us in the area of trusting Him not only with the results, but in having patience during the wait. Most of you who know me well, know that patience is not one of my strongest virtues ... this has indeed been a time of growth for me!

Thank you for all your prayers and support. Have a blessed summer, and I expect not to send out a "Gabe update" until the next MRI in late September. Lord willing all will be fine until that point.

Continuing to walk by faith,
Carolyn on behalf of the
