Back Again ;)

Hello all blog readers!!
I am finally back again to post a family update...what a rigorous few months it has been!! I am officially a senior in university, and Lord willing will either be graduating December, or sometime in the spring!!
Quintessence has also been receiving an extensive amount of performance requests, ranging from a senior's banquet to an Austrian holiday banquet, with the different ambassadors from the various consulates attending. To be completely honest, we had been praying for the Lord to reveal to us whether or not He would have us attend the Highway to Holiness conference in North Carolina (it is next weekend;) He clearly did so by bring these individuals to us with countless requests, probably our most busy month in the history of our ensemble...just amazing to see the Lord work :):)

Anyhow, here are a couple pictures from the events that we have performed at, in addition to a couple other family pictures.
Enjoy!!
In Christ,
~M

- Last Saturday, we performed our Sound of Music repertoire at a coffee shop by the name, Sugar for My Honey...what a success!!

The musicians and the vocalists...don't they look adorable in their Austrian wear? ;)

After performance time, we were blessed to enjoy an Austrian meal, complete with sauerkraut, potatoes, sausages...delicioso!!

Our little corner...

Hannah's "little guy" just before the performance...just look at him sitting there, waiting for the virtuoso to truly make him sing :)

OH.MY...delicious, homemade Austrian doughnuts with apricot jam inside the middle

"Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens, bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens; brown paper packages tied up with strings, these are a few of my favorite things!"

Rehearsing for a wedding at Trinity Chapel on the University of Toronto grounds...what a beautiful church!!

The architecture is phenomenal...very European!! :)

One extra picture with a friend after our Beamsville, Sound of Music performance...what a delightful evening!!

On our way to the senior's residence performance...another evening including musical hits from the Sound of Music...

An action shot!! We all thoroughly enjoyed the evening of performing, and also speaking to the sweet senior's...probably one of my most favorite venues to perform at ;)

Well, that is all for now...Abby has been very busy taking pictures as usual, and will be putting together a post once they have been compiled!

  1. If I lived closer I'd be sure to make it to one of your performances. :) I would love to hear you all doing something from Sound of Music. And your outfits are adorable!
