Hello Everyone!
I am so sorry for my lack of posting!
I do have many photos for this post though, so hopefully you will all enjoy that! ;)
So, to get started...
Last week we awoke very early in the morning (around 3:30-4:00) and after quickly packing the truck we were on the road!
We drove a couple hours while the little girls (and the big Girls too!) were sleeping before finally stopping for something to eat and of course...a coffee!
After that we really tried to drive as long as we could before stopping again, since we really wanted to get to the hotel early enough leaving time for a swim.
We ended up arriving at the hotel around 9:00, which was perfect!
Our friends (who were traveling with us) arrived at the hotel closer to 12:30- 1:00...
Thursday morning we were out by 8:00 and back on the road for another three hour drive.
We picked up the RV in North Carolina Thursday afternoon and hurried to move everything from our truck, into the RV since it was still another 4 hour drive up to the conference center (and since "Quintessence Ensemble" would be preforming at the conference, we were trying to arrive at the conference center 2 hours early to do a sound check.)
Anyhow, the conference started Thursday night and ended Saturday night (though, there was also a church service Sunday morning, for those who wanted to stay).
After the Sunday morning church service, we decided to stay at the conference center for the night and enjoyed fellowship with friends, drinking coffee and singing hymns!
Monday morning we were supposed to join some friends for a hike, however, the weather ended up being rainy and cold so, Papa and Mama agreed that it would probably we better if we headed back to the RV rental office.
Since we have some dear friends who live in NC, we decided that it would be nice to visit them for the week (we hadn't seen them in two years!!)
So...that's where we have been for the past week!
Its been so great to catch up with our dear friends; two years is just too long!!
Oh, one thing that I must not leave out....on Tuesday, Uncle Paul and Papa took us girls (5 in total) as well as Gabe, shooting! (to my delight!!)
It was an amazing experience for us city girls! :)
I will attempt to do another blog post soon...however, I cannot promise that will happen!
Hope you all enjoy the photos!! (and sorry for so much writing!!)
