Dear blog readers,
It is now my turn to expound on the delightful time that we were able to enjoy in Germany! After our first week of time with friends and preparing for a wedding on the weekend, we decided to pack up a couple things and begin our travels around Germany! Our first stop was Rottenburg, a historical town in Germany that had not been bombed in any of the Word Wars, leaving much history to be cherished! After spending the afternoon in Rottenburg, we made our way up north to Leipzig, the city of Bach and Mendelssohn! Johann Sebastian Bach served in a church in Leipzig for many years, also leading a boy's choir in the city of music...his legacy can now be enjoyed by all musicians and classical music lovers! We were able to visit both the Bach museum and Mendelssohn apartment...here are a few pictures that truly represent our time in northern Germany :)

In the Mendelssohn museum, it was quite interesting to be able to conduct an orchestra using the special technology present...what a significant job our conductors have!!

Had to post this one =D The littles desired to purchase German dolls as their souvenirs for our trip, and just before moving onto the next store, Stefan thought he should be a part of the significant purchase...haha!
