Pictures from concert with "To the King" choir at St. Thomas church in St. Catharines Ontario

Well, our concert with the "To the King" all male choir on Friday was absolutely AMAZINGLY!
We arrived at St.Thomas church in St. Catharines at about 6:30 pm and prepared ourselves for the concert which began at 7:30 pm. We opened with selections from our Sound of Music repertoire and finished up with the first movement of Vivaldi's Spring from the Four Seasons. The organizers ask us to wear our dirndls so we complied although, Hannah resisted vigoursly. She likes her dirndle, however, since we have been performing the Sound of Music so much lately, she is tired of wearing it ... she looks so cute with her "buns" and dirndle!

Here we are warming up before the concert. Miriam had a very challenging part in the piece and all of us were feeling nervous not for us, but for her! Mama finally decided to stop our rehearsal and bring us graciously to the throne of our Lord in prayer. She asked for the Lord to give her peace and skill in playing the challenging part and that we all play not for man's approval, but for HIS glory! It was so helpful to pray during this time and as always, HE was faithful in helping us to keep our eyes on HIM,

Here is the choir singing.

Here we are playing the "Sound of Music" selections
And finally, the magnum opus ... Spring from Vivaldi's Four Seasons ... All for HIS glory! You did an exceptional job on the difficult passage Miriam! Isn't the church just gorgeous, and the acoustics were devine indeed! It is always so nice to play at a venue that has great acoustics and ambiance.
