This is a picture of Gabe's new poster...
Today is Gabe's first day of chemotherapy.
Just yesterday he was admitted to the hospital. When he arrived in his room, to his dismay, there was a flowery pillowcase and a little mermaid poster on the wall. When my Mom mentioned the mistake to the lady, she said that when she read Gabe's name(Gabriel) she thought he was a girl and prepared the room for a girl. So today, he got a new pillowcase (one with cars on it) and a new poster. After all, he is a little sensitive to girlie things coming from a home with five sisters:)
So far he has been reacting well to the treatment.
I will update you if there are any changes.
