Hannah's Birthday Trip

For Hannah's birthday this year, my Mom planned a surprise trip. She gave her riddles all along the way so that Hannah can try to guess where were going. Here are the riddles. Try and guess them without looking at the answer. Write your guess in a comment. I am telling you the answer in my next post.

1. Early to bed, early to rise. If you're not there by ten, you'll miss your surprise.
2. On the Kings highway traveling east, you'll stop for breakfast but it won't be a feast.
3. Pickering, Ajax, Couburg too! Watch for the golden arches, there's breakfast for you.
4. Brighton, Trenton, and to the city on the great lake, John A. Macdonald said a great capital it would make.
5. After Kingston you will go; bring your coat for the breezes will blow. Look by the lake for a big white boat.
6. 10 o'clock, at the dock. Don't be late, the boat won't wait.
7. All a board, the whistle blows. A five hour cruise, a way it goes. Past the Thousand Islands, it's sure to amuse.
