"Godly people lead godly lives. Through regeneration, people are enabled to know God and to obey Him. Indeed, this outward practice of obedience is evidence that an inward change has occurred. Men and women need to do what God says, and this is done only by obeying what He commands in His laws. These laws of God are found mainly in the Old Testament. Men must obey God on His terms; they are not free to pick and choose which of His commandments are to be obeyed, and which commandments are to be disregarded in the name of a misconstrued "grace." Jesus did not save His people from obedience to the Law; He saved them from the curse of the Law (God's wrath)."
