Gabe's Lemonade stand

This past Saturday, as a family we decided to have a garage sale to clear out some of our "treasures". Well, Gabe came up with the idea to sell lemonade and donate the proceeds to the Children's Wish Foundation. It gave him great joy to think that some other child who is facing a life-threatening disease will enjoy a trip like the one he did to Switzerland this past December. It just took him mentioning the idea and our mom was running with the idea! She spoke with our dad's uncle and he donated a case of lemons, I (Hannah) squeezed them and Abby and Gabe helped make the "fresh" lemonade for all our family, friends and neighbors. It was such a success that Gabe was able to raise $250.00 and people are still calling to tell us that they would like to give him money even though they could not attend the sale on Saturday. 

Not only could we share what the Children's Wish did for Gabe, but more importantly, what GOD has done and is still doing in Gabe's life and the life of all of our family members!
