We recently took a little "field trip" to Ottawa, Quebec City and Lake Placid in the Adirondack mountains of upstate NewYork. Wow ... what a trip! There is nothing like field trips to teach us about Canadian history. We arrived in Ottawa late on Sunday the 8th of April and settled into our amazing suite at the Minto Suites hotel. Our suite was a two bedroom, two bathroom apartment with a full kitchen, living room and dining room. It was amazing! We made a "buffet" breakfast and enjoyed egg muffins, fruit, yogurt, orange juice and coffee for the adults. It was as nice as the breakfasts you get included at some hotels! Our friends the Carringtons joined us on this adventure. It's so nice to see the "littles" having fun together.
