Papa and Gabe's first breakfast at home since spending 3 months in isolation ...

Gabriel and his two younger sisters, Sarah and Gracie ... leaving HSC !Today Gabriel and Papa came home from the Hospital for Sick Children. Gabe will not be receiving any further chemotherapy treatments since the oncologists both at the HSC here in Toronto, and the St. Jude Children's Hospital in Memphis Tennessee agreed that risks were too high to go forward with the protocol. It seems that the damage to Gabe's hearing combined with the heart and blood pressure issues were not worth the risk of completing another two cycles of high-dose chemo. Although we don't know what the future holds, we are at peace that we know who holds the future ... God is in control ... always! Gabe and Papa are so happy to be home with us girls and we are just beyond happy to have them back. Please keep praying for Gabe as he heads down the long road to recovery! We love you Gabe & Papa!
