Notre-Dame de Paris

Have a look at the newest creation Gabe and Papa built! Yes, it is a 3D puzzle of the famous Notre-Dame de Paris and they built it in less than 2 hours if you can believe that! A friend from Grace Fellowship Church (the church our family calls home) brought it to Gabriel and Papa figuring it would keep them busy and out of trouble for a few hours:) Isn't it beautiful?

Here are some facts about the Notre-Dame de Paris:

* It's a "Gothic" Catholic cathedral

* It is in Paris, France

* The first parts were built between 1163 and the 1240's

* The cathedral was complete in 1345

* It was desecrated during the French Revelution in the 1790's

* The cathedral was the first to use the "flying buttress" or arched exterior supports

* Maintenance and restoration of the great cathedral began in 1991
