Our little man fighting the battle of his life
Well, it has been a week since Gabriel was diagnosed with a brain tumor and underwent a six hour surgery to remove it. It has been the longest and most difficult week of my life. His tumor was cancerous as was confirmed to us yesterday during a meeting with the Neuro-oncology team at HSC. We have a long road of treatment ahead of us but we will not fear or be discouraged since we know the Lord is in control and that He does not make mistakes! He is will never leave us nor forsake us. Gabriel does not yet know he has cancer since we have decided to postpone telling him until after his birthday tomorrow. Your prayers would be greatly appreciated!
