Winter in the Cacciacarro house...

Greetings!
I trust you are all fairing well, (looking forward to the upcoming Christmas season I am sure!). Speaking of this time of year, it is usually very packed full of performances for us older girls, and this year is no exception! So amazing... There is nothing like Handel's Messiah and some classic Christmas carols to get you into the holiday spirit! So, aside from having so very many rehearsals and concerts, we have been visiting a lot with some dear friends, and enjoying the chilly weather that has finally arrived (perfect for peppermint lattes and warm scarves!). We're still waiting for snow, and it's predicted this weekend, which is pretty exciting!
On Tuesday we attended a beautiful organ concert downtown at the St. James cathedral... It was spectacular! The church definitely reminded us of the ones in Europe.
Anyhow, we are hoping to post some more, once most of the busyness has ended, so be sure to keep tuned! Just wanted to give you all a brief update and some pictures... hope you enjoy!
Many blessings in Christ,
~Hannah

Dear little friends, sooo happy to be reunited after a little while of not seeing each other:)
Heading to IKEA...
The others went over to the used store while Papa, all the kids and I spent some time in IKEA. Hehe... as you can probably tell, we had fun collecting all the chickens!
We spotted some puffins too!
Nothing like warm coffee, cake, and ginger-bread!?!
Quintessence performing with the Uplifted Choral in Ancaster Ontario. This was just the rehearsal.
Time to rehearse everything!
Now to the performance.
We were also joined with some other amazing musicians!
After concert selfie!
Another performance, now at a beautifully charming Christmas dinner with the Canadian Austrian Society!
We had the privilege of taking a picture with our featured soprano, Lilac Cana, and the honorary Cosul General, Mr. Walter Schneider. What a spectacular evening filled with amazing food and music!!
No words.

Time to make a ginger-bread house!! How fun!

Evening of music at a cafe on Lakeshore, "Sugar for my honey"... It was so great that our Cousins could come along to support us!
By the way, the food is absolutely AMAZING!?!
Mimi's "fancy" owl mug and some notes from her Spanish and Italian studies...
Sisters...
Such pretty decorations!
Happy Birthday Nonna. We love you SOOO much!!!
Dearest Nonna with eight of the thirteen grandchildren!
Sunday after church traditional Italian meal... very European!
St. James Cathedral, downtown Toronto.
We attended an organ concert downtown at the St. James cathedral, and then met Papa afterwards when he finished up work...
It brought us all back to our time in Europe. The churches there were out of this world gorgeous!?! We are definitely looking forward to visiting Europe again, hopefully in the next few years (or sooner:)

Walked over to the historic St. Lawrence Market for lunch!
Such a cute food booth in the Eaton's center...
