Have you ever wondered where the word mesmerize originated?
The word mesmerize(to hypnotize) is named after the German physician Franz Anton Mesmer, a physician of the late 1700's. He is famous for his theory in animal magnetism or the flow of energy from physical beings.
Does anything sound familiar?
Transcendentalism is the belief that promotes spirituality(interact with the force) and shuns the physical world.
So, Franz Anton Mesmer is a transcendentalist....
