The Lord has so blessed us with a new neighbor whom we call Miss Kathy. Miss Kathy is a retired science professor.
I am studying Apologia's Biology course this year in grade nine and LOVING it!!
We have enjoyed many afternoon science labs with Miss Kathy in our bright warm kitchen. In these pictures we were looking at slides of different specimens of bacteria and protozons which we cultivated using pond water and various additons such as boiled egg yolk, soil, dried grass, and uncooked rice for the organisms to feed on. It is AMAZING to see what is living under the microscope in these samples!!
