My New Dress

This is the finished product. I made this dress from one of the "Sense and Sensibility" patterns.

Mrs. Jennie Chancey started the "Sense and Sensibility" pattern business shortly after she got married in 1996. Since then, she has been making patterns while still taking care of her family.

The pattern I used, was a pattern Mrs. Chancey sold to "Simplicity" pattern company. The pattern number is 4055. The dress required three buttons, but I used six for a better fit. The scarf you see me wearing in the picture is something I noticed on the pictures of the "Sense and Sensibility" movies' costumes on the internet(just to tell you, I've never watched the "Sense and Sensibility" movie). I plan on wearing it to my piano recital.
